Question Should I get my red card?

Iím working on my schedule for next semester and have a few open time slots. I was thinking about taking a class on wild land firefighting. As of now, I am planning on becoming a structural FF. I will probably work in a small to midsized city. Is there any reason why I should or should not work on getting my red card?

Youíre the experts! Your thoughts please.

It never hurts to get your red card. You never know when you will get the chance to go on a wildland fire. I know here you have to have your red card to be on a project or federal fire.
