Do you really expect the "brotherhood" to give you equipment when you threaten to pick up your toys and go home?
Do expect "companies" to donate to you when you run your organization like your own private club? Oh wait a minute, it is!
I'll make a donation...have some cheese with your whine!Last edited by CaptainGonzo; 11-17-2003 at 10:58 AM.

cry me a river, then build a bridge and get over it.
You have this screwed up misconception that everybody owes you something. After I'm dead I'd rather have people ask why I have no monument than why I have one

But after the way you treat my Brothers and Sisters......HECK NO I guess they will go to Helping Your Own instead.AKA: Mr. Whoo-Whoo

It's 3 cents worth...and the First Amendment to the United States Constitution gives me the right to post on an "Arizona" thread....plus I have family in Arizona (an uncle who is retired from the Flagstaff FD, not to mention my real Brothers and Sisters in the fire service!)Originally posted by July36

PS: using "adolescent netspeak" in your posts does not help make you look legitimate, nor does it help your cause...."The education of a firefighter and the continued education of a firefighter is what makes "real" firefighters. Just remember peeps....your companies started the exact same way we did....so remember where you came from...and what it took to get you here.
Im just really fed up in alot of things...doesnt mean I have anything against my fellow peeps in the FS.I like doing this job otherwise I wouldnt be doing it.ALL people,at one time or another gets to the point of finding themselves at all 4 corners of a brick wall...just as I have been recently. So im sorry if I offended anyone as it wasnt intentional.I realize im not the BEST person in the world(none of us are) and I will be the first to admit I have problems BUT...ALL of us do in one way or another.

Adze what is wrong with you there is nothing better than peeps, but I will admit it is a good thing that they only come out for easter here. As much as I love em they would be bad if I has access to em all year.

Hmmm, donate to a Private fire company who, at a whim, pouts, and threatens to take their toys and go home. Then what happens, fore-mentioned private company takes my communities thoughtfully donated equipment, and sells it. Making a profit...
