Can I respond? It's freakin' COLD up here! It was only 65 degrees {F} yesterday. It's the middle of May and I should be wearing shorts!

Looking at the temperatures at home right now(Manitoba) I am going to be screwed when I get back. High's this week of 20 celcius and lows of -1. Right now I'm in anywhere from 40-50, without the humidity. I'll be wearing sweat pants and jackets for about the first month when I get home.

I think I was cold for about a year after I got back from working on the cruise ships in Florida. Came back in June and was just like Cat, wore sweatpants and sweaters and stayed wrapped up in a blanket all summer LOL. Then winter hit

    WHAT??

Here in Wisconsin, it's been in the 50's and 60's all month so far.

I'm used to below zero weather so I wear shorts at 50 degrees and up so what are you bitching about?

It's like when I was Florida a couple years ago in February for speed week. It was in the low 50's there. I was in a tshirt and shorts while the locals were running around in parkas shivering.

*hangs head in shame* So I'm a wuss. I've just lived so long with the temps in VA and TN {with those temps being a lot warmer in the recent decade than in my childhood} that I don't have any real cold tolerance anymore. Here. This is as close as I'm getting to shorts until the thermometer reads high 60s:

Here I am (on the left) during some recent training for fire explorers up here. Myself and the 2 other guys pictured were safety officers/setup crews and we had just lit two vehicle on fire for the explorers to put out.

And....even though I thought I had already posted this picture..... here I am at FDIC.

Default Seems like a nice site.

    Don't see a problem here.

Great first post by the way!

It was however, a brilliant idea to bring her page to the attention of tens, if not hundreds of thousands of firefighters, the world over...Nice job!

You do know that those are pictures of like 10 different women right?

I get the feeling that this is an ad for "tailboard photo's" pictures.
