Wow...just spent some time looking through this thread...what a Handsome bunch....

A few of me, One taken at R1 in NYC, and a couple takn by US Photographer Gary Suson who was 'riding' with me last summer... one of a Fire in a road tunnel... everyone else was ordered wrong, guess who got there first and was trying to stop traffic as well as re-direct the Crews to the right location!!!

The other is a 'posed' photo following a fire in a Crack house in a Ghetto Housing Project.

SCANDALOUS... It isn't just my car...I woke up this morning and every damed car in the Country....as well as all of the trucks, Buses and Fire Engines had steering wheel's on the right!!!

Even my own car got done look

A couple of years ago, a friend of mine (FDNY who will remain nameless) came to the UK for the first time. I met him at Heathrow and we went to the car park. As I stopped at the car and put his cases into the boot (sorry Trunk) he went and stood at the right door. I threw him the key and said "OK Bro, you drive then"...his reply was something like WTF!!!

Even better, last summer 6 FDNY Chiefs came to London for the 60th Anniversary of our Firemans Benevolent fund...as with all things FDNY I got the detail to look after the guys. We took a FD personnel carrier to the Airport to pick them up...on the way back into Central London I am in the Passenger seat, (on the left) turning around to talk to the guys in the back..I could see some worried faces, in the end I got a "Hey Steve...do ya think ya better look at the road as we drive...." They couldn't get used to the fact I was on the left and not driving.

OH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! I've been busted!!!! I haven't a clue what button I was pushing. It was the one the man in the white hat told me to push....I think it was for safety equipment.....It was a borrowed aerial truck...we had permission....HONEST.....I was just doing what the Chief said....

We had a demo aerial truck and I was in like Flynn. Grinned the whole time. Had a ball riding in the bucket. I wasn't scared at all much to the Chief's amusement I went up "Look Ma, no hands!!" (I had my harness on though, not THAT dumb.) All the pictures from that day show me grinning like a Cheshire cat. still grinning

WOW!!! This is much worse than I originally thought. The next thing you know, people will start driving on the "wrong" side of the road.

Here's a pic from me the day after a large structure fire. We had to use the snowmobile to pull out the hoses from the 3 feet of snow that fell the night before while we were fighting the fire. I'm the one in yellow in the middle.

Here's another pic of me...this one's from a plane crash we had in March of '03. My partner and I (I'm the one on the right with the hat on) along with a chopper pilot are carrying one of the children that survived from the crash to the ambulance from the chopper.

I'M BACK!!! lol I thought this needed a revival

Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed. Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, 'It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than to be selfish and worry about my liver.'
