I was going to figure out how to send pics and post them~made a promise to an individual just after Christmas~only then did I discover that my scanner broke and is no longer connected.

So you all are going to have to wait till it's either fixed or a new one is baught.

Hey fiddler it didn't show. Don't be to worried, I'm sure when I try it'll take more than 5 tries or more.

Despite the fact that I often believe that my department should be recognised with an award for being the most F'd Up fire department in the world, sometimes they can be incredibly innovative. Here I'm field testing a radical new piece of apparatus that the department has designed especially for use fighting wildfires on extremely hot days. You will also see that I'm testing the latest in NFPA-approved firefighting helmets. First there was the leather helmet, then along came TT or Tactical Tupperware. Here now, shown for the very first time is the TTT - Tactical Tea Towel helmet. You can see that in our department engineers are issued with a red and white check helmet to identify them on the fireground.

Well seeing as how camels can go for many weeks without drinking, there's gotta be decent water storage in there - hasn't there? At least I think that's what the department was thinking?

I guess the next question is - will they let me use the Tactical Tea Towel helmet during the hot evolutions at FDIC?

    Thumbs up

Thank-you 77 for posting my pic.
For anyone who cares, this is the end of the Stanley Glacier trail in BC. It took us 1 1/2 hrs to hike up and only 3/4 hr to walk back down. The extra hand belongs to my hubby who has been a FF long before I ever dreamed about it.
