It might work now. Out of curiosity, what web browser do you use? It works for me on both IE and Firefox. For IE it should play using Windows Media Player and on Firefox it should play with QuickTime. If you use Firefox and don't have QuickTime, then that's why it won't play.

    It worked that time.

That's just plain wrong. Out of curiosity, did you see the empty beer bottle and bible sitting on the organ? Doesn't that stereotype us southern country boys even more?

HAHAHA, yes... I did notice the beer bottle and Bible. As well as the baseball bat behind the door. Glad to see if you ever (Heaven forbid!) run out of ammo, you have a reliable "back-up" for face-to-face confrontation!

    Misc Bits.

Adams new bike and proud Dad.
(Since this was taken 3 weeks ago, the rails have come off the deck and steps built right across the front, only 12 meters of steps what was I thinking.)

The Wee worker and his wheelbarrow helping out.

Our back yard is finaly finished. 6 years of blood and sweat. Damn good to sit on the deck, watch the young un play and enjoy a brew.

Building the steps, getting the posts concreted in.

there are three steps down to build.

After the front face and back support rail were nail in with 4 inch nails I started putting the stringers for the steps in, 500 mm apart for 11 metres. After getting 3/4 of the way along. I noticed something interesting.

My old Stanley Level had a problem, the horizontal level WASNT. it was about 10 to 15 mm out depending on which way around on a level surface it was. Go figure.

    The language was rather colourfull.

A new level was purchased and each stringer had to have an angled fillet cut and attached to bring it to level.

Didnt take long, NO not at all, 3 hours later we were back in business. Wheres that beer?

Looks awesome, Ian. Very nice yard! You must be feeling a great deal of satisfaction now that it is finished.

They don't but they make spades that have oblongish(new word?)steel ends that "Yea verily doth diggeth the square holes"
But of course you have to dig another hole to bury the dirt

Dang Kiwi, I could have sold you some postholes and the shipping wouldn't have been bad all the way from Mississippi!

Would have been a lot less work.

    I'm not SILLY.

If he had said "Collapsible Post Holes" though I would have been in.

The saving on freight would be HUGE.

So they are not the correct depth to meet local building codes, I will wait until they grow up (or down) a bit and get back to you.

PS. On the Sailboat Fuel. Have you been eating Chief Reasons Baked Beans as well?
