Ummmm? I didn't have a say whether we smoked it up or not. I also wanted to wear packs just for the weight but was voted down by our advisors.

    Please clarify!?!?!?!

P.S.- Disclaimer- The tool I brought in is set down on the floor. It is there.

...with no smoke will be excellent practice for all of the times you need to search a structure that is being consumed by smokeless fire.

Ok, I'm sorry that our little fire department and explorer post isn't good enough to run with you guys. I know of quite a few departments that have blacked out masks but no smoke for training.

    Post Hey!!........

We didn't get to 89 pages by maintaining a bunch of running peeing contests. If you want to discuss perceived shortcomings in someone's training program, do it on the Watchdesk. Thank You.

BTW, we do SOME training with blacked-out facepieces and no air. You have to start at the very basic level and work up. Never had anyone hurt either.

Lt. Quinsey of Havana and I at a 3600 sq. ft. residential job last week. Lt. has a line from Concord E6 in his hand. We were discussing our next move and I have no idea what I'm pointing at. Looks bad becuase it's a picture of the newspaper. We were on the front page.

If thats true, then what do you have to "pay" if you find your face on the TV news? (while working an emergency scene, I mean. LOL)
