I'm the one in the middle, the others are FDNY guys from a station in or around Chinatown (?)
Sorry about the size of the photo, still can't figure out how to shrink it down!!
And then there's this one, taken 2 weeks ago after we went 'Bald for the Brothers', in a fundraiser to support two of our collegues who are being treated for Lymphoma. Over $15,000 collected and still counting with 2 more shifts to be subjected to the razors!!!

It's NOT O-ran-gy, It be Yaller
It's a short bus, so it's yellow
We went to Yellow apparatus in 1968. Back when I was still getting paid to drive the yellow apparatus, my wife owned a School Bus Fleet. (school transportation is by contractors here) and the standing joke was both of us had the same job. We rode around all day in a big yellow truck with blinking red lights and a bunch of kids in the back.
Many people have asked, "Why Yellow?" Answer "Who else has Yellow?" "Uh......... Nobody within 50 miles." "Exactly." Stay Safe....
