    Default Pre-Fire Planning Software

I was wondering if any Departments out there use Pre-Fire Planning software. I am in the market for software that will allow our Fire Prevention Division to use the computer to draw out the perimeters of a building in our pre-fire plans. Right now we are designing pre-fire plans the manual way - by drawing with pencil and paper. I started doing some research into other avenues and the only software I can find so far is called The CAD Zone (aka The Fire Zone).

    Thumbs up Fire Zone Software

    Brandy,
The Fire Zone is actually one of the best programs available for pre-planning. The program is comprehensive, and fairly easy to use after a bit of training and playing around with. The drawings are crisp, clean, and very easy to read. The company also sells modules for specific needs (i.e. civilian or military aircarft, etc.). The Travis AFB fire departmen has used it for several years now, with great results.
