    Minimum 200 gallons of water

    2 preconnects for 1 3/4 inch hose

    Pump and roll capability

Seating for 3 although a 4 door cab would be better

    Four wheel drive

Still selling our 1974 Dodge that meets the posted specs...

hehe, the truck might be too... ummm... "experienced"(?) for your needs though.

At the very least, could mean a Pierce body and Waterous pump for cheap...

Going to have a 1982 Ford F700 Pierce Minuteman available here shortly. 400 gpm pto, 400 tank, 2 crosslays, big hose bed (1500" 4") full depth compartments. 60" cab to axle, turns on a dime. Excellent condition, but not 4x4. She's been through quite a few fields though with no problems. Let me know if you would like more info. Dan

You may want to contact the City of Austin, TX. Rumor has it they will be putting "3" 2003 Ford F550 Crew Cabs up for grabs. Unknown if 4x4 or Diesel, but believe they are both. Pierce built the bodies.
Believe they paid about $150,000 ea. Better be nice !

    Call Affordable Fire Equipment 1-800-947-9503.

You can get very good used or new trucks from them.

Well 1974 is a little old, and gee if I had $150K to spend those would be great, and as far as the Minute man goes, sounds like a great rig, we just need 4 wheel drive.

On another note...If anyone happens to be a fire apparatus dealer and you ether post here or PM me at least be honest enough to say that's waht you are. This is not in reference to any of the people who have posted here so far so please do not take offense. The perpetrators know who they are.

Still looking and still hoping for a good deal in our pitiful price range!!

    thanks, FyredUp

Think it went to a dealer in Oklahoma for $5000
