Michigan – ‘Fire Ties’ magazine

Does anyone know if there will be a replacement for the newsletter? I read it will no longer be published since Gov. Granholm issued an executive order to eliminate the fire marshal division of the state police. I like to look at it to see if there are any classes in my area. Does anyone know of other ways to find out if a class is being offered?

I don't believe that the Fire Ties magazine will be replaced, however you can find out about scheduled classes on the Michigan Firefighters Training Council website: www.mfftc.org and go to scheduled training.
