    Default Parts for LDH valve

I know I am setting myself for many wonderous shots from many of you out there but this is a serious question.

We have an LDH valve manufactured by the Remus company in Canada and it needs to be rebuilt because it leaks. I can't find anyone on my FD that remembers where it was pruchased from and no equipment compnay that we normally deal with handles them. An internet search so far has come up blank and I am at a loss as to hat to do. If uit could be repaired I would rather do that than spend the bucks to buy a new valve.

Thanks forany help you can offer.

I know that Task Force Tips does some Rebuilding of LDH BIVs. Go to their website and get the 800# and call. Ask for Mike Grich (pronounced "ger-sich") in repair.

Also..trying doing a search on the net for the company that made it.

I already did the search on the internet thing and didn't find anything at all regarding Remus fire equipment.

    I guess I'll keep, looking.

    Thanks,

Try NAFED http://www.nafed.org/ or FAMA http://www.fama.org/ maybe someone there knows, or they can point you in the right direction.
