Does anybody know how long it takes to get a grant amendment approved.
Thanks,

Since the program is pretty cut and dry on what can and can't be amended after an award, the longest I've heard of is 2 weeks. Denial of amendments is usually immediate for the most part, but sometimes the request and the associated cost changes require a few more eyes to look over it.

Yes, it may take two weeks. HOWEVER, be prepared for it to take up to a month or more.

DEnied
It took me two days to get the denial of my grant amendment. I needed more money for the TIC and a truck mount and they denied it, no explanation. A individual did try to contact me by phone, but i was too p&^%$# to call him back.

As long as you don't ask for more money they will usually let you ammend your grant. I was told that I could not recieve anymore money than what I applied for in the 2003 grant.
