I have an idea. Why doesn't someone just go out and create a new thread for each manufacturer. Then when you have got good things or bad thing to say about any of them, you could go to that thread.
It may keep some of the back and forth bashing from going on.
Then the Ford guys could brag about the Fords on their section and Chevy guys could brag about their Chevys on their own section.
Could be good for reference for the new guys looking for info on each manufacturer.

Over my 31 years we've run many different apparatus at one time or another.. Here's a list.
Ferrara
E-One
Sutphen
Mack
Spartan
Hahn
KME
ALF
Seagrave
Quality
Pierce
Best rig so far has been the Pierce, the older Macks and the older Seagraves.
Worst rigs have been ALF (after Diamler/Chrysler bought them out), Quality and Ferrara. The rest were just so so. IMHO, Pierce is tops now.
