A Fire in Tarpon Springs last week did an estimated $200,000 in Damage to Pappas Brother's Greek Restaurant according to Fire Officials. The 2-Alarm Fire is believed to have originated in the HVAC System and spread smoke and fire throughout part of the building. The Building, which sits in the Famous Sponge Dock District of the City was filled with smoke when firefighters arrived. Firefighters were on the scene for over 5 hours as they had trouble making sure there was no extention in the large building that is chopped up with many dining areas and could be considered a maze by the description of some firefighters.
