Engines 91,92, Tanker 91 and Engine 17(mutual aide) responded to a report of a kitchen fire. Eng. 91 arrived to find a single story residential with light smoke showing from side 3. After a quick size up the fire was located in a bathroom closet. Eng. 91 crew stretched a 1 1/2" preconnect and made quick work of the fire. Fire was contained to the closet only. Units remained onscene for approx. one hour doing overhaul and cleanup. Chief 90 had command.

Later in the night Engine 18(North Chilton Fire Dept.) was dispatched for a fire alarm, while enroute 911 recieved updated calls from neighbors reporting the house was on fire, dispatch then added rescue 18, engine 181, engine 12(West Chilton Fire Dept.), engine 121, tanker 12 and rescue 12 on the call. Engine 18 arrived to find heavy fire out the front. Engine 18 requested a 2nd alarm which brought engine 41(Jemison Fire Dept.), engine 42, and pumper/tanker 71(Union Grove Fire Dept.) anf truck 71. Units remained onscene for several hours.
