    Thumbs up Graduation Ceremony Etiquette

I will be attending my nephew's Fire Academy graduation tomorrow. It happens to be the same academy I graduated from. It is a formal ceremony and graduates who are already on departments, as well as the instructors, wear their Class A uniforms. Would it be appropriate to wear my Class A uniform to this ceremony as well?

Thanks in advance for any guidance.

I vote yes for a number of reasons...

    1. It's a formal fire service event.
    2. You're a member of the fire service.
    3. You're a graduate of that academy.

    Thumbs up

Go ahead and wear it.You'll be setting a good example as a role model. Also, the grads will be happy they have friends and family attending, but having someone in uniform will be a little extra.
