rock hill freedon church a large 3 story brick and wood churh. building also had attached 4 story annex. first due units found the building f/i all rock hill and numorus york county units on scene. the fire gutted the building. at the height of the fire 4 ladder pipes and unknown other lines in use. fire did about 1 million dollars in damage.atf to the scene to look for cause.
york county. 6 units of a 2 srory apartment building were damaged in an early morning fire that killed one resident. again ladder towers and large habd lines were the rule of the day.
