Is anyone else attending the MABAS/ITT Seminar in Springfield next week? I will be going as a representative from Division 44 and am curious if any other flatlanders are planning on attending.

Won't make the seminar and still don't know about the exec. meeting but Division 47 will have 4 there - Greg Earle, Lonnie McDaneld, Roger i-forget-his-last-name and somebody else. Supposed to be a lot of information to take back home.

Les:
John Cratty from MABAS 31 should be there. John Swan from MABAS 39 should be there as well.
If you want to freak them out, go up to them and mention my name. Especially to Swannie.
Please come back here and fill us in. It might be the only way some of us will get the information.

Hey ChiefReason,
You know Swannie? Well, I should have said, who doesn't know Swannie!! ha ha ha ha
I was on his Dept for a year as a day shift volunteer, I also work for the ambulance that provides coverage to his district. I know the family very well, friends with his sons.
Be safe

I made it back
The conference was very interesting and a great learning experience. There was lots of information available to assist us in getting our division up to speed. Now we just have to have lots of meetings to get the information out and finish their box cards. We had the opportunity to meet many people who was very helpful in answering many of our questions. The personnel from the RED center were very helpful in answering all the questions our dispatcher had and we received lots of good advice from several of the older divisions. The weather may have sucked going and coming but it was well worth the trip.
We also have a new MABAS division in Illinois. JoDaviess County became Division 49 at the executive meeting yesterday.Proudly serving as Vice-President of the Illinois Delegation of the IACOJ
