First part: No, I haven't.
Second Part: Whats your point?
P.S. You can't wear them unless they have a bullhorn with a siren built into them.

Speaking of George Thorogood, just bought an original record for $80. He is one of the best!!!
Well when I get on a fully paid fire dept and actualy have money to buy leathers I am planning on getting a pair of pro warringtons with a carins houston. I use rubber boots right now because I dont really have all that much in finances. Just enought for basic living expenses.
What I cant believe is the people that keep relighting a fuse after it has long gone out!
The point is that i am getting input before I go out and get a pair.
Id like to see you wearing a pair of boots with a bullhorn. Well maybe I should criticise all the FF's/EMT's etc... who have decorated their pov's with a billion lights. Now thats stupid. Who has any right to run code in a pov other than the chief and asst chief and other high ranking officals. NO ONE DOES IT IS PLAIN ILLEGAL AND DANGEROUS!!! Any explorer or ff with lights on their pov that use them to run code should first be smacked on the head and given a labotamy( i did not spell that right) Webteam needs to put a spell check in here.

Why don't you type it in Microsoft Word first and spell check it there, works pretty good.Originally posted by expvol

1-It's not stupid. You don't need a billion lights but you do need enough for 360 degress visability and a siren's required to run code. If it works for the fire trucks, ambulances and police vehicles responding with you to a call what makes you think you should not be lit up like them?Originally posted by expvol

2-Who has the right to run code? Anyone in my department from the Chief to the newest member. Don't be bitter just because your FD has different rules regarding the use of warning lights. It's not the same everywhere.

I love this place
Where else can you start off with a boot question and get a spelling and grammar lesson, followed by a disagreement over lights and sirens on POV's. Not to mention a nice rock 'n roll reference.
The entertainment in here is priceless.
Oh yeah, I'm voting for leathers also.Last edited by gordoffemt; 02-07-2004 at 10:53 AM.

Speaking of Comedy Central, I am watching Chappelles Show, some funny stuff.
This statements made above do not represent the agency i belong to in any shape or form. So if i say something stupid its just me.
