I was thoroughly disappointed with the hands on training at firehouse world in San Diego. There were FAR FAR too many students in the classes, and therefore, there was little to no hands on time for anyone. Also, the classes were not necessarily on the subjects that were advertised. I am requesting my money back for all the sessions I attended. Anyone else have this experience?

I am sorry that you did not have a positive experience at Firehouse World Hands-on Training. I am the HOT manager for the events. We set the class capacity on recommmendations from the instructors who teach these classes around the country. Please contact me to discuss your situation. Sue Palmer, 800-827-8009.

"Thank you for calling the Firehouse complaint department. We are deeply concerned with your issue. Please remain on the line. The next available customer service representative will take your call. She should be with you in .. 5 1/2 years. Thank you, and again we value your concerns with our Firehouse products."

Well........
MONEY??.... Man, you are on the wrong Coast. Here in Maryland, we have something similar each year, during the Third Week in June. The Maryland State Firemen's Association's Annual Convention and Conference features several days of Seminars, Hands ON Training, Multiple Exhibit Halls with everything from Collar Brass to Tractor Drawn Ladder Trucks, and many other things to see and do. AND IT'S ALL FREE...........
After many years, I still haven't figured out why each State doesn't have a similar event. NO ONE in Fire and Rescue should ever have to pay a single penny for Training.

Must have a lot to do to go back five years on a forum to pull up the thread. Maybe time to find a real job.
