Default Asking for a few good thoughts

This is a request for a few good thoughts and prayers for a really good guy--Bill Friedrichs,Battalion Chief from the Downers Grove,IL FD
underwent open heart surgery Wednesday, February 11, and is expected to be out of action for a few months, with a prognosis for a full return to duty. Bill is not only a stand up chief officer, but is a great photographer and big supporter of the Monroe, WI. Fire School. If you could keep him in your minds it would be greatly appreciated.

My wife is a former ER/present Cardiac Nurse. What they are doing today in cardiac surgery and rehabilitation is purely amazing. Bill is in my prayers.

    Default Update

Spoke with Bill today--they removed the last of the drainage tubes(which hurt like hell, he said,) and they'll be letting him go home tomorrow. Few months off,(and hopefully some sunshine on a beach somewhere,)and he'll be back to the fire line and the photography as good as new. He said to pass along his thanks for all the good wishes.
