    Default Wildland FF-1 trainee here

    Hey Everyone

I am Wildland FF-1 trainee and I start my wildland FF-1 academy on Feb 28th. Does anyone have any valuable advice to offer a probie wildland FFer?
I have been an EMT-1D for almost 2 years and this is a step towards getting my Structural FF-1 certifications and Liscences. I am looking for any advice thet you might have to offer a new "probie" starting out his FF training and career.

    Much Appreciated.

Take care, stay safe out there and God Bless.

Are you working on your FFT1 (Squad Boss), or is it a state certification?
I just got my FFT1 task book signed off last summer and am now working on getting me engine boss book done. The task book was really easy, just had to complete some tasks while on fire incidents and have your engine foreman or FMO sign them off.
