Default Outline Plan for day to day operations

Hey guys, I'm working on a paper for a fire and ems management class and am looking for outline plans for day to day operations from different organizations. Any input would be greatly appreciated. You can forward them to my email ffjsmith@ufl.edu

    Thanks,

Here is our M-F work day...

    0730 (start of shift)-0830: Equipment/apparatus/station check
0900-1200: Training or Preplans (food run during this time)
    1200-1300: Lunch
    1300-1600: Training or Preplans
1600-0630: Free time unless we have a night drill (one a month) and that is between 1900-2100.
0630-0730: Sweep & mop living area (kitchen bathroom tv room)take trash out.
    0730: Off duty...

    Weekends

0730-0830 and 0630-0730 same as weekdays, all other time is free time.

    Hey! I wasn't finished yet.

They don't schedule training or projects for us until 10:00. Our schedule is pretty relaxed. I think that flexibility and trust is a key ingredient to crews keeping themselves motivated and productive.

Make objectives and expectations clear, let your officers do their jobs, and you'd be surprised what will happen.

Nothing destroys morale faster than setting a "busy work" schedule.

We're a combination department, so our schedule is pretty strange, all times approximate based on average, here goes:

0630-0730 - Optional PT session for any personnel wishing to attend
0800 - Part time shift takes over from POC's, equipment checks start
    0900 - Breakfast is served
0930 - station chores (laundry, trash, etc...)
1030-1130 - Educational, grocery shopping, or down time, depending on day of the week
    1130-1230 - Lunch is served
1230-1430 - Classroom training depending on day of the week and afternoon errands, if any
1430-1800 - DowbnEnd of shift for part time
1800 - POC crews report for evening equipment checks, then go home
