    MFN-Water Rescue: WORCESTOR Co., MD: Water Rescue/ 50 nm East of Chincoteague, Va/ Tanker BOW MARINER has exploded and sunk in the Atlantic Ocean off Delmarva. Carried 27 people and 11,000 metric tons of Ethanol. At least 2 DOA and many missing, some rescued. Ocean City and Salisbury MD expecting Survivors. MFN JZ-1. 9:09p.m.

    Update - Off shore tanker explosion off Delmarva Coast - The "Bow Mariner" a 575ft tanker carrying ethanol with 27 souls on board exploded. 7 victims rescued. 2 fatalities found. En-route from New York to Houston, TX. This is primarily an USCG operation with units from Cape May, NJ to Elizabeth City, NY operating / Local FD Units unable to go this far out. Ship was flying the flag of Singapore. Search & Rescue operations continue. DC8 [DC FIRECOM]. 10:11p.m.

USCG Helicopters & a USCG C130 continuing to search debris field for any survivors. Victims have been transported to MD & VA hospitals all in critical condition from burns.
