I wonder why, with all the strife already going on within these forums due to differing political views, WHY would you post this sort of poll?? I hope it doesn't follow the path of the others.

We will never be free as long as we are restricted to a 2 party system. I vote Libertarian. Personally I hope to see talk show host Gary Nolan get the party nod. http://www.garynolan.com/index.shtml

    Jesse,
you should know by know that that is like mixing ice cream and motor oil.........it just doesnt go together. Personally I agree with Pfire this time, there has been enough differences of opinion to last a good long time, and it would be nice if the waters could settle for a few minutes before it gets riled up again.........but if all they're gonna do is vote....

Back on topic. So Jesse, you started the thread but forgot to say who you are voting for. Is it Bush? How close do you think the election will be? Hopefully not a repeat of the last one.

    Talking OK, I Voted...................

Are the FORUMS the only place on earth where the debates come AFTER the Vote? Anyway, I'll be voting for Bush in Nov. simply because he's the best of the selection. I think that there is room for a third party, and I'd like to propose forming one. It would be called the Common Sense Party, and here's the platform.
    FOR:
End to stupid lawsuits (you burn yourself with hot coffee, get over it and get on with life. You knew it was hot)
End Immigration. There are enough people here already
Abolish the EPA, Energy, and State Departments
Change the Department of Defense to the Department of Offense
Require Primary Elections to be on the same day, nationwide
All polls will open and close at the same instant, nationwide
    Abolish the Electoral College
    Reverse the Political Correctness garbage
Re-name the Health and Human Services Department back to Health Education and Welfare - Truth in Government Labeling
Maximum income tax of 2% set in place as a flat tax (no deductions) and no exceptions or exemptions
Strengthen the separation of Church and State
Make English the National language, and require everyone to speak english in public

I'll be back with the against list later, Stay Safe....

We discussed this back in 2000..

It's deja vu all over again!

Can you imagine how long Paul Harvey's State of the Union address (sp) would be?
