    Angry I Hate Rain

Man, my galdarn basement flooded. POS sump pump did not do its job. I was at the station today doing a 12hr ride with one of the local ambulances, the station flooded and I thought man Im glad that my sump pump works. Get home, walk downstairs, "Is that carpet darker than normal...Splash, what the**** *** *****." This day could of not gotten any worse. I was in the process of recovering from a broken water pipe. All the boxes were on the floor when the rain decided to come in. Also there were a lot of water rescues today, PEOPLE, YOUR CARS ARE NOT BOATS, THEY WILL FLOAT"

They don't make very good hydroplanes either....slow down crossing the water over the road.

My esteemed colleague, Smokey the Bear, is getting a break from saying "Only You can prevent Forest Fires" in this area, this spring. Last winters Rain/Snow is keeping it quiet, for now.

A couple of winters ago when we had a lot of snow then the next day it all melted and ended up in my basement and there was like 4 or 5 inches of water down there. Now that was a pain in my @$$. Are basement has flooded a few other times but not recently thank god.

    Yup

February 2004. Worst summer month ever recorded in New Zealand. Places recieved 170 mm (6.75 inches") of rain in 24 hours.

Largest land area and depth of flooding ever in our history.

We took 5" in 24 hours where I live, and it is not fun.

We had 2 days of sun (and it was a damn leap year).

February 2004. Worst summer month ever
That would be due to the fact that February is a WINTER month!

    Bones.

That would be because you people up there are upside down.

    A few examples.

    Snow during Christmas time.
A good way to stuff up the summer holidays that one, the beach just wouldn't be the same.

    Left Hand Drive Cars.
Your driving on the WRONG side of the road for heavens sake.

    Leather Helmets and Rubber Boots.
Now if that ain't upside down I have no idea what is We use leather boots and rubber is for rain coats or tyres or...
