Question The Fire Science Student needs your help...

My next research paper... I would appreciate your thoughts and opinions as to how the new Department of Homeland Security requirements and philosophies have impacted the field of fire investigation. How has it changed your roles as first responders and fire investigators? I have no idea how to start this one so I thought the best place would be to come to all of you for your thoughts as you are out there every day and it is all of you who are the first responders.

My next stop.. the FEMA website..

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Default Might help...

The DHS recently implemented a national Incident
Command System (ICS). It was based on California's
FIRESCOPE which is our state standard.

    Get some info here- www.firescope.org

Bou-Thank you. I went to the FireScope site and I have some of the information already from the DHS site. Of course it also helps that Pumper41 is here so I can pick his brain and have him clarify some of points for me.
