    MAJOR EMERGENCY STRUCTURE:


    On Thursday, March 04, 2004, at 0321 hours (3:21 a.m.) seventeen companies of Los Angeles Firefighters, one Hazardous Materials Squad, three Battalion Command Officer Teams, one EMS Battalion Supervisor, and three LAFD Rescue Ambulances, under the direction of Assistant Chief John Ware, responded to a Major Emergency Structure Fire at 2211 E. 16th Street in the Industrial East Side area. First companies on the scene reported a one-story, 100í x 120í, commercial building well involved with fire. Firefighters using heavy stream appliances and handlines confined the fire to the structure and extinguished the fire in forty-six minutes. The building contained some clothing, bale goods, and one auto. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is listed as under investigation. Fire damage is estimated at $1,200,000. ($1,000,000 structure and $200,000 contents)

    2000 - Portsmouth - NH - 2nd Alarm - 245 South St - 2.5 Story Wood Frame 30x40 Heavy Fire Floor3

    2000 - Sherburne - VT - Multi-Alarm - Killington Access Rd - Mountain Green Resort - 40 cars and parking garage destroyed
