Default OK, it's time for this

As most of us know, PFire23, aka Jenn, wanted to be a flatlander a few months ago. I think the time is right to ask the delegation if they think she belongs in our elite group. Therefore, I declare that majority shall rule, providing she can get 3 sponsors again and at least one of them is willing to say, with right hand on a stack of salvage covers, that she did indeed set foot in our great state.
Sorry, Jenn, but what happened in the past administration is history and it's time to start anew. And, no, you can't vote. Only "real" flatlanders, not the honorary ones, are allowed to cast their ballot.

    Thumbs up

Please allow me to be the first flatlander to sponsor Jenn for honorary membership. She will be a great asset to we FIB's. I vote in the resoundingly affirmative.

Where's them sacred salvage covers? Are they located by the Holy Hand Grenade?

Default I vote yes Mr President

As one of Jenn's origional sponsors I feel obligated to show my support again this time. I can not swear on the salvage covers she has been in the flatlands but I am positive that a member who we have not heard from yet can.

We need to do anything we can to stimulate conversation or the Buckeyes will catch us

I can say with a great deal of certainty that Jenn has visited our fine State. I think she left with a good impression.

YES, I did!!! I really liked Chicago, and that's something coming from someone who doesn't like big cities. I was enthralled with the architecture and history in the downtown core. The Museum of Science and Industry was neat, I found it very fascinating. The food was fabulous, I think I gained 20lbs while I was there . Everyone that I encountered while there was polite and friendly, even the homeless people, which I found surprising considering the response one receives here when they refuse to "donate" to the cause. There is so much to see and do in Chicago and I really hope to get back there some day to see the things that I didn't have time to see when I was there. It also helped that I had a great tour guide

I will say here and now that I was the second flatlander to cast my "yes" vote for Jenn. I did so on the strength of her affiliation with another esteemed and respected flatlander. The sponsors that she garnered speaks for itself.
Now, our prestigious president must affirm/confirm.
With that said, I would like to apply for honorary membership in the WOT. I think you all will agree that fair is fair.
    I await your response.

Well Art, I would be happy to grant you an Honorary WOT membership, however, the same rules apply. You must have 3 sponsors, one of whom has physically witnessed you on WOTland *you didn't think I'd make it easy did ya???* Oh, and you must don the sacred WOT tutu

It seems that our candidate for status is getting a bit anxious. Since we've only had 3 days to vote, I cannot yet make a decision. Besides, nobody voted "no" yet and that'd make it too easy. Once again, I make a declaration - since Tuesday is election day in Illinois, Tuesday shall also be the day flatlander status will or will not be granted to PFire23. Polls shall close at 7 PM on Tuesday night, CST, and the President of this fine delegation shall publicly notify her of the decision. Until that time, Jenn, you're free to campaign. Just remember to grease the palm of the pres some, too.

OK, the votes are in and although no bribes have yet reached this office, without objection, I declare PFire23 an Honorary Flatlander. She is now subject to all the rules and regulations governing flatlanders, especially the old rules we will make up in the future. Congratulations, Jenn.
Seems to me that about as many people voted in this election as in the state primary yesteday. A disappointing turnout here, only 6 votes cast.

Thank you all I'm sorry that it's taken me so long to reply but I've been otherwise occupied. I was on vacation for a week and while on vacation I received a call for a testing/interview process with our provincial ambulance service. So after the holiday ended I had to prepare for that. I also got my GED Test results back while on vacation (it was a GOOOOOOOD vacation ) and I passed !!!! I had my assessment with BCAS (ambulance service) today, and I think it went really well. I'm hoping to hear back by the end of the week.

So anyway, I'm very honored and proud to be the FIRST and ONLY (at this time) female Honorary Flatlander
