    Thumbs up

The Fire Arson Investigation program at the National Fire Academy is fantastic. It gives you the basics and is a great place to start. The networking you can do there is also a great learning tool. The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glenco Georga offers advanced fire arson investigation as well. If you go to the ATF web site you can find info on the course there. Also, look to see if there is a local chapter of NAFI, the National Assoc. of Fire Investigators in your area. They offer great training programs. Look at IAAI, the international assoc of arson investigators. They also have training and certification programs. My best advice would be to try and get into the NFA course first and go from there. If you can travel in the month of May, St. Anselm College in Goffstown NH offers a week long Arson seminar that is fantastic. It is taught by experts from all over the country and is worth the trip. Hope this helps.
