NJ-TF1 New Jersey's USAR team has gone under a few changes this year. The team now falls under the newly formed Office of Homeland Security - Special Operation Section - This was done to benefit from the Federal Homeland Security grants now available and also to bring the State level responders together under one command structure.

Some more NJ-TF1 news..... The team now is close to full staffing of 210 members, new-member training to be held this month.
