Return to the Flatlands......................
I have just returned from my second venture to Flatlands (well at least to Hinckley).......saw all the familliar faces and met a few new ones.......my priamary reason for going was to celebrate the retirement of Dekalb FD member Larry H., who was on the job for 24 years. It was a grand celebration and I was grateful for the invite Larry, thank you. Art, sorry, I could not get you this time, perhaps golf soon ? (pictures forthcoming)

I would like to extend my gongrats to Larry. I hope i can play a round with him in the near future, now that he has more time. Larry, i still think you need a sand wedge.

Glad to hear that the event was a success. Larry was a riot at the golf course. I would say that he and dmsmith have a similar golfing style. I still find it funny that Larry spent so much money on that goofy hat.
Sorry we couldn't get together. Golf for sure. When this pesky snow leaves us. I have been training and exercising in preparation.
Soon, my brother.
