I have been to Alabama, Nevada and New Mexico. For those that havent been to New Mexico, it's a blast... Literally.. The class is called Incident Response to Terrorist Bombings. The class is great. They go through all type of explosives, det chords, case studies. They also take you out into the field and do actual detonations. I would highly recommend any class that is put on by the CDP. Here is the link for the class in new mexico. When you get to the main page, click on First Responders NDPC Information. Contact me off list if you have any other questions.

The class in Nevada is called Radiological/Nuclear course for HazMat Technicians. Basically it's 4 VERY long days of training but I felt it was way worth it. There are lectures and hands on where the instructors bring you out to the place where the Atomic Bombs were tested. Over the 4 days they bring you through many practical exercises using various detection equipemnt.
