    Default Fire Prevention suggestions needed

hello all, Currently I am in class for Fire fighter 1(Basic). A requirement for this class is to do a public fire prevention presentation. Does anybody have any ideas for a fire prevention and Life safety presentation for office-type people that would be between 30 - 60 mins long and would probably be held indoors?

Itís a great idea; Most of us cover home fire prevention pretty well but fail to teach the same for the workplace.

How about discussing fire prevention in the workplace relating to disabilities? Discuss the importance of visual warning along with the audio fire alarms. Review the evacuation plan for their building with them. Should they evacuate or retreat to a smoke proof tower? Do they know to keep all exits unlocked and clear while open? Do they know how to use a fire extinguisher? Point out the different types, and explain proper placement.

    Hope it helps.

I forgot to mention FEMA has several handouts relating to fire prevention in the workplace.
