Talking Tell the truth, don't we all pray for this call...

    Well, at least us menfolk.

    From The Sun .

The story of the fire is a real tragedy, but the picture just begged to get posted! Maybe I won't get banned.

    Woman gets fireman's lift

A TERRIFIED woman in a purple thong is carried to safety by a fireman — after a man died in a “human torch” horror.
The unnamed Argentinian student was trapped in flats above the Nazwor Restaurant.

The victim — a former boss of the eaterie in Manor House, North London — had walked in, doused himself in petrol and set it ablaze in front of staff and customers.

Locals said he had fallen badly into debt.

That had to be one of the worst jobs there that day. I bet it was exhausting making sure her feet touched every rung of the ladder and wrapping his arms around her to make sure she was stable to go down the ladder.

I bet he went right to rehab after he got down from there.

Yes, some days are just better than others. I had a call once where we had a woman in her early 30's who sustained multiple bee stings and was in anaphylactic shock. The lady's husband had removed most of her clothes to get the bees off and hadn't bothered to cover her before we arrived (he was pretty upset and wasn't thinking clearly as she was unconsious and not breathing too well). Once the epi kicked in and she woke up she was rather embarrassed about the whole thing. Fortunately, we had a female paramedic on the crew to deal with patient care, which calmed her down quite a bit.

We got a call from a resident one night at the station. The lady was locked out of her car. Taking a call like that is up to the officer, but as we're a volunteer company we usually take them. Our response was guaranteed when the caller stated: "I lost my keys in my shirt."
