Can any one who is using CAFS backpacks, for wild land use, tell me how they like them. What kind do you have, other uses you use them for, ease of use, and ease of maintenance, and any other points you could share.

I saw one being used in 2000 at the Cerro Grande fire in Los Alamos. It worked but didn't seem to have enough capacity (water and foam) to make it worthwhile. pretty cumbersome also.

I am also interested in comments regarding portable CAFS units. Anyone having experience with this equipment, please let us know the pros and cons.
