The Texas EMS Foundation....is having a big event May 21st thru the 23rd......here is the link to the site they have now

people will be coming from all over the country....they will have classes, live bands, a chili cookoff, beer, a fireworks display and it will be on Dr Bledsoes ranch in Midlothian TX
he is the one that writes all the EMS books.....
