ZION NATIONAL PARK, Utah (AP) -- Two St. George men on motorcycles were killed when they entered a Zion National Park tunnel at speed and crashed into a wall, the highway patrol said.

Arron J. Padilla and Colin Robert Morrow, both 21, were killed about 6 p.m. Sunday in the accident on Zion Mount Carmel Highway, the patrol said.

Trooper Kevin Davis said the speed limit in the tunnel was 25 mph and the men were traveling at excessive speed.

He said they entered a curve, crossed the center line and hit the wall.

They were wearing helmets, he said.
