I'm looking to see if anyone out there as information, outline, or a lesson plan regarding Emergency Medical Dispatching. I want to give a course to our responders, on how EMD will affect them, and what they are to expect. (Hot/Cold Resp, Pre arrival instructions, etc)
Before I spend all kinds of time on it, does anyone have something similar already done?

Training for Dispatchers?? come on now.
My agency doesnt use EMD. At least not yet. We are very up against the wall here. The Central Communications Division comes under the POlice Departments budget so you know who gets all the Training money when its around. This is not a funplace to work right now.

We also use the NEMD program. They sent a few of the fire department captains and EMS cordinators to the class also so that they understand what we are doing. We don't use the A,B,C,D,E codes yet, but I heard they are going to start implementing them with in the next year.
