Does anyone have any insight as to when Chicago FD will be giving another examination? I realize that it has been since 1995 and the exam prior to that was 1985, but I have heard that the current list has been practically exhausted. Also, do most of the suburban areas surrounding Chicago require Firefighter II and paramedic certs? Any info would be great!
Thanks!

hey, proud ff. no news on cfd. but it shouldn't be to long according to previous tests. as far as the burbs, i would have to say that 85% require one, if not both certs. u can email me with any other ?'s. there are a few tests coming soon, one of which doesn't require any certs. hope this helps.
