Does anyone remember the date and location of that big boatyard fire they had in Boston? I am trying to do some research on boat fires. Does anyone remember when it was written about in F.H. Magazine?
Thanks,
Kenny Knapp

Let's see.........I remember going to my sister's 25th wedding anniversary the day of that fire in East Boston. She got married in the spring of '75. So the fire must have been in the spring of 2000. April perhaps? Hope that helps.

It was real windy, involved the pier under the yacht club and the building itself before it actually spread to any boats. That is a good link if this is the fire your asking about. I thought I might have lost my own house that day. It really started to get out of hand in a matter of minutes. JF
