I know this is kind of a stupid question, but I have stayed at the same job with a major retailer for almost six years now and I was wondering if it looks good for an applicant to have a long tenure with a company before he/she applies with an FD.
I have pretty much been at the same position (no supervision) because getting promoted to management does not work around my school schedule nor do they care about a FD entrance exam schedule. There is more scheduling leniency on hourly employees who go to school and I don't want to quit(for more $$$$) and let a potential FD think of me as a flight risk.
Looks good. Many candidates look for the job like you have to be in position to test,gain their education and experience.
