    A Houston, Texas Firefighter was killed this morning. Preliminary information is that companies were operating at 7610 Kempwood at a reported fire in a reception hall/ballroom and reported possible hazmat when some sort of collapse or falling debris lead to the death of 1 Firefighter as well as 1 other Firefighter in critical condition and other Firefighters injured.

    One Firefighter Killed, Three Injured in Nightclub Fire

    The blaze claimed the life of 32-year-old Kevin Kulow, a rookie who had been with the HFD for less than a year.

    Kulow and three others from Station 50 went into the heart of the fire after receiving reports that people were trapped inside the building.
