International Public Safety Diver Conference

The 2004 INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC SAFETY DIVER CONFERENCE will be sponsored by the International Association of Dive Rescue Specialists (IADRS.org), and co-hosted by the Broward County Sheriff's Office and Department of Fire Rescue and Emergency Services, the Fort Lauderdale Police Department and the Fort Lauderdale Fire Department.

Conference dates are November 3 through 6, 2004 with two pre-conference programs scheduled for November 1 through 3 (Special Marine Operations – Hull Search and Diving in Polluted Environments).
Tuition for the four day conference starts at $235 for IADRS members, $275 for non-members. Pre-conference programs are $340 and the cost for the Public Safety Diver Survival certification is $25 and includes the use of Aqua Lung equipment, air fill and in-water pool training.
