Car vs. Train Accident
Mt.Pleasant, WI


At around 2030 hrs, Mt. Pleasant Fire & Rescue was dispatched to the rail road crossing on Braun Rd for a report of a car vs. train accident. First rig on scene reported an Amtrak passenger train vs. car, this was a T-Bone accident. The train pushed the car about 200 ft down the track's. Command requested Flight for Life to the scene, but was cancelled moment's later; no transport. The man that died was a 43 year old male, unknown what the caused of the accident. The Amtrak just left Sturtevant train station shortly before the accident happened. The train was heading to Chicago. Rehab was not called to the accident. Train traffic was finally open at 0000 hrs. Rig's on scene were;
