This has probably been covered here a million times but stupid search feature wouldn't let me search for the word "run" because it's under 4 letters!
Anyways, I just did my annual work capacity test and opted to run 1.5 miles in 12 minutes. Missed it by 6 seconds. Was wondering if any other agencies still used the run test at all. I'm going to retest next week but damn I'm ****ed I missed it by such a slim margain.
This is the only year I've prepped for it and the only year I've not made it! It might have been cause I had to stop running to puke though! lol

New Jersey is testing this weekend and will use the standard "Pack Test"....a 3 mile hike with 45 lbs. in less than 45 minutes.
I do hope they give you another opportunity...

Yeah, I get as many tries as I want.
I'm half tempted to do the pack test but I was interested in doing the run and getting it over quick.
I'll do it in the afternoon next time which is when I usually run though! None of that early morning ****!

Around here you have to do the pack test. We did ours on Saturday. I was 2 minutes faster this year than last.
