Norwich Dept

I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the Norwich
Dept testing. The last written exam was in Dec of 2002. Any word
of new testing comming up late this year or early next? Thanks

Norwich just hired at least two. One from my department (Vernon) and one from Manchester (8th district). I would assume that a new hiring spree would not be in the near future there.

I heard they just hired 6 guys....or was that Norwalk? I think it was Norwich

It could have been Norwich that hired the 6 guys. I just know of two for sure. 3 guys got hired from Vernon...1 to Otis Airforce Base, 1 to New Britain, and 1 to Norwich.

Its been a good month.

There is no reason to be bashing someone for getting a job as a paid fire fighter. Leave it at that. If you have problems with it, dont go posting stuff on a national board. These are childrens games. He got his dream.

What about them? There is a reason why he got hired. He may not have scored number one but I think he quals make him an asset to any department. He has impressed our department, as Im sure he will New Britain.
