    1948 G39 Feltham Persons reported fire at 34 Foxwood Close, 2-sty private dwelling 8m x 12m, working fire 2nd flr using 1 hosereel, 1 civilian rescued w/ smoke inhalation & burns.

    House Fire


    At around 0230 hrs, Mt. Pleasant Fire was dispatched to the 2100 blk of Howe St. for report's of tree's on fire, first engine on scene reported a W/F with heavy smoke showing..This was a 1-1/2 story house with fire in the attic. Fire crew's were told to evacuate the building for safety purpose's. The truck had it's ladder up ready to drown the flames from above. The cause of this fire was a lighting strike . Rehab was also called to the scene per command.

    Town of Burlington, WI
    Structure Fire


    At around 0240 hrs, Town of Burlington Fire & Burlington Rescue was dispatched for a possible structure fire in the 4500 blk of Mormon Rd. Burlington Police on scene reported a working fire; A-side of the building First rig on scene pulled attack line's. Tanker re brought in for water supply and a RIT Team was also called. The fire was quickly knocked down. Most fire damage was to the office area.with smoke and water damage to the rest of the building. Foot note; this same building had a fire about 2 year's ago. Rehab was not called for the fire. Unknown what caused this fire.

    GREATER ALARM STRUCTURE FIRE:


    On Saturday, April 17, 2004, at 1646 hours (4:46 p.m.), thirteen companies of Los Angeles Firefighters, two Battalion Officer Command Teams, one Battalion EMS Supervisor, five LAFD Rescue Ambulances, and other support units, under the direction of Battalion Commander Mark J. Saxelby, responded to a Greater Alarm Structure Fire at 15116 West Parthenia Street in the Arleta area. First units on the scene reported a two-story, center hallway apartment building with heavy smoke and fire showing from one unit on the first floor extending rapidly to the second floor. Firefighters using handlines aggressively attacked the fire confining it to one unit on the first and second floor. The fire was extinguished in sixteen minutes. As a result of the fire three injuries were reported: a female in her thirties suffered back injuries when she jumped from the second floor, a male in his thirties suffered minor injuries when he fell down the stairs, and one LAPD Officer suffered minor smoke inhalation while attempting to evacuate tenants from the structure. All three were transported to Holy Cross Hospital in good condition. The cause of the fire is listed as a stove fire. Fire damage is estimated at $80,000. ($20,000 contents and $60,000 structure)
