our department's post used to have an old Jeep from a local plant fire brigade that disbanded. They had it for a while and it was breaking down alot. so it in turn got donated to the Toledo Firefighters Museum where it now rests and refurbished.

We at one point were considering purchasing a van for the main dept. which we would use, then the thought came around of renting one if necessary. But none of that got put into our plans, we use POV's for transport. In reality the cons of it outweighed the pros of it for us.
As far as your Mack question goes, we do not have a MACK CF.IACOJ

We have our own truck for parades and stuff but for calls we ride with the fire fighters on these. ->
I have no ambition in this world but one, and that is to be a firefighter. The position may, in the eyes of some, appear to be a lowly one; but we who know the work which the firefighter has to do believe that his is a noble calling.

Well, we don't have an explorer post, but in the past, we have had I believe three CF's. Engine 2 was a '72, Engine 3 a '73, and if I remember right, we had a tiller as well.

Not a Mack or a explorer post truck but a new rig. Seats six, 300gal. tank, 70' tower. http://www.sutphen.com/Sutphen%20Rec...nsalem0504.jpg
No longer an explorer, but I didn't wanna lose my posts.
